Can anyone reading this help a sister out? I have been having issues with this site and there is no one to report to. I go to the Help Forums and its just more complaining and a lot of time wasting. I cannot see my blogroll on my Dashboard of others who I follow. I do see it but I only see one blogger with all their posts...only. I can manually switch from blogger to blogger but I am used to seeing all the latest from all of those I follow in order according to time posted.
Next issue is me not being able to comment on my own posts. Keeps asking me to sign back in...repeatedly.
Any tips? Advice? Switch to Wordpress? Noooooo.
Oh my goodness, I WISH I had answers for you! I have been having Blogger trouble for WEEKS and I find it utterly incredible that I can't find solutions anywhere! There was a mention of this not being able to comment problem somewhere on their "known issues" blog, like 2 months ago or something - and there was never any follow up in terms of a resolution. It's kind of unbelievable. If you find any answers, PLEASE DO pass them on to me, as well!
ReplyDeletewhen you sign in untick the keep my signed it box. I was told to do this and it helped with the comments. as for the other I cant help you sorry.

ReplyDeleteSo many others have been having blogger issues too. There is no help from blogger..It doesn't exist, it's like Santa Claus.

I tried Wordpress, and for me, they were not user-friendly.
Have you ever thought of starting a fresh blog on blogger? Perhaps this blog is linked up to the servers they are having problems with????

I think Angela's solution above has fixed the issue temp. If I have to start a new blog...again, I certainly will not stay with Blogger. I'll see how this goes for a while. TY all!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your compliments on my dreamboard! Yes, I am having problems with Blogger Dashboard. For the longest time now, all the names of the blogs I follow are scrunched over to the middle, and the actual posts are nowhere to be seen. It is a total mystery. The other problem I've been having is that, on blogs that don't have pop-out windows for comments, I get prompted to sign in - when I am already signed in - and I had to figure this out on my own that if I go ahead and sign in again, anyway, and unclick "keep me signed in", then I can proceed with posting the comment. But then I'll be prompted to sign back in again when I come back to blogger later. What a hassle!!! Another problem I am having is in actually posting. There are so many strange glitches happening - between the damn post going into save mode for in inordinate amount of time (like permanently), or things being changed on their own within my post while I'm writing it up - like font size, spacing, pictures disappearing... And it's only in Blogger that I'm having these issues, so it ain't a virus or anything like that. UGH!!!! Frustrated. Both really mind-boggled by Bloggers seeming obliviousness to any of this(????)
